Review: Noble: Episode Two (Cobra: The Gay Vigilante Series Book 2) by Nicholas Bella

The second book in this highly addictive series started with Eric musing about his new vigilante life as Cobra. While musing he takes us way back to give us insight in his past and where his superpowers had been coming from. I really appreciated this little tidbit, because I've been already wondering if this series had been a spinoff from another series by the author, so thank you for that.

While cleaning the streets successful of criminals, Eric sure enjoys when his ego gets stroked or even better when there is a sexy, willing male body to show him his gratitude. With Jordan working on his hacker skills and going back to college they’ve been also stocking up on their equipment. Hacking into the dark web and witnessing one of the most horrible crimes ever, a crime so cruel nobody ever should have to witness, let alone endure as a victim; their only plan is track those sick f**** down and let them pay, an eye for an eye. Following the money trail of the killing game, the name responsible for the victim’s horrible death had been found soon and was taking them into an entire differently world of crime. With plan A and B not working, there’s always a plan C for Eric and while learning off his sloppy mistakes, Cobra’s first target in a nest of vipers will be dying a very slow and painful death. Personally I think there is no mother in this world who wouldn’t have joyful killed that target herself.

The second Episode of the series had been a lot darker and very intense, but nonetheless a fantastic read. I'm thankful that there are no cliffhangers and the episode ended with amazing sex between the main characters. The authors writing skill speaks for itself and there is no chance you won’t be addicted, after reading the first two books of the series. I’m already in love with the cover of book 4, I mean hey, have you seen that sexy silver fox... Before getting there I still have to devour Episode 3 to find out who'll be Cobra’s next target from the killing game.

Thank you Nicholas Bella, for this continued fantastic reading experience!

"I thought I knew what evil looked like... I was wrong."

It's foolish to think you've seen it all just because you've seen things no human should ever have to see. The things I've gone through in my twenty-eight years on this earth have shaped me into the man... or in my current case... the vigilante I am today. It's been three months since I've taken up the mantle of Defender of the Innocent from Putrid Scum.  I go by Cobra for short. I must admit, I feel like I have a real purpose now and I do enjoy kicking a lot of--well, you get the point. Things were going pretty good until my partner, Jordan, cracked through the firewall of an illegal website on the dark web. I'd been witnessed to a lot of horrors on the battlefield, but seeing this particular round of humanity's sadistic cruelty to humanity actually made me lose my lunch. That's not an easy feat. I know one thing, I'm going to take down the monsters who run this site and all of their sick customers. That's my new life goal.

Warning: This is a novella serial series that will be coming at you fully loaded with hot, gay sex. Yes, there will be all kinds of bodily fluids splashing and squirting in all directions with each episode. Expect body parts to be sliced, diced, gouged, and even ripped apart because I don't half step. This is a series intended for adults only, who want a superhero that loves to play dirty... and by dirty, I mean grimy as hell.

Review: Origins: Episode 1 (Cobra: The Gay Vigilante Series) by Nicholas Bella

Seeing as I don’t have much time to read lately I’m always thankful for amazing lower pages books. Having this series on my kindle for a while now, I wasn’t sure what to expect though, not least because of the of the Warning label: “This is a novelette serial series that will be coming at you fully loaded with hot, gay sex. Yes, there will be all kinds of bodily fluids splashing and squirting in all directions with each episode….” and so on. Truth to be told, I wasn’t too eager to read of certain splashing body fluids, whereas I sure didn’t mind to read of others like the squirting ones of course… Boy, have I been missing out!

Right from the beginning the book started out partwise hilarious with a not very happy MC Eric who, as an out and proud gay man had to shift into the body of some hot playboy model from ages ago to accomplish his assignment. Just getting off the hook without figuratively having his pussy ate out; the worst thing for him had been not to be allowed to kill this sleazebag of a target in order to get paid. With his hands bound there had been just “minimal” violence, but if you thought just for a moment Eric would let things like that slide you had another thing coming.

Even though not in a committed relationship Eric and his partner Jordan had been a dream team in and out of the bedroom ever since that fateful day six month ago. Needing to break up their tents once more because of a bloody late night dinner, Jordan eventually had been able to convince Eric of his higher purpose in life and born was Cobra.

I really loved the language used in the book and also the balance between humor, action and hot sex. Enjoying the story and its teller’s spell I just couldn’t stop reading, not before the very last page had been consumed. Surprisingly I even didn’t mind the bodily fluids splashing, seeing as they had been well deserved.  Thank you Nicholas Bella for this fantastic read!

"He saw me as his hero, but I'm nobody's hero."

At least that's what I tell myself. My name is Eric Cayden, and I'm a man with some pretty extraordinary abilities. It's because I have these superhuman powers, my best friend, Jordan, sees me as hero material. I'm not the only one in the world with special abilities, of course. Some people have already stepped up to the plate and made themselves martyrs, but I'm not about self-sacrificing for the greater good and all that crap. Not anymore. I've already bled for my country. Now, I just want to live a normal life in the shadows and make a lot of money doing odd jobs on the side. Is that too much to ask? Well, according to my friend, Jordan, I'm destined to be something better than a glorified errand boy. He thinks I have a higher calling. He thinks I can be a hero. Well, I'm not too sure about the hero part, but I do hate it when bad people get away with doing evil things. So maybe, just maybe Jordan has a point. We'll see, won't we?

Review: I Do, Or Dye Trying by Aimee Nicole Walker

The struggle is real! That’s what Gabe can sing a song from these days, because if it rains it pours….. The, under normal circumstances, very laid back Detective Dirty Talker stumbles from one nightmare into the next, as if he wouldn’t have enough already  on his agenda with making Josh his forever in a few weeks.  The roles are reversed and for once Gabe is the one struggling and fighting with all kind of emotions, we only knew from Josh so far. I’ve been wondering for a while now at which point Aimee Nicole Walker would bring up Gabe’s past to bite him in the ass and therefore would say that she did an amazing job with keeping the reader on the edge with suspense.

Life is not easy on Josh these days either, seeing his man struggle takes its toll on him and for once he has to be the strong one in their relationship. It was amazing to see Josh surprising everybody and his man the most, with being the laid back one this time and how far he had come since the very beginning. Instead of turning back into his old insecure, control freakish self, he refused to be the victim yet again and have faith in Gabe and their future. With not being prisoner to fear this time, Josh is ready to accept whatever life will throw at them and so much more.

The last part of the book I’d call heavenly caveman style and therefore can’t wait for the story of Mr. Bestseller and Doc Paws….

I’m sad that Josh and Gabe’s story came to an end, but look forward to see hopefully more of them in the following books in the series.  A big THANK YOU to Aimee Nicole Walker for a few hours of immense reading pleasure!
